Air Canada Boeing 737-8 Max jet compelled to divert immediately after engine shut down with mechanical challenge

An Air Canada Boeing Co 737-8 Max en route among Arizona and Montreal with a few crew associates on board experienced an engine problem that forced the crew to divert the plane to Tucson, Arizona, the Canadian airline organization said in an emailed assertion on Friday.

Soon just after the take-off, the pilots gained an “engine indication” and “resolved to shut down one particular motor,” an Air Canada spokesman explained.
