MOREHEAD, Ky. (MSU Community Affairs) –The Morehead State University Board of Regents held
a assembly on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, in the Adron Doran University Heart.
4 of MSU’s Regents have been sworn in by Judge David Allen Barber. They bundled regents Wayne Martin and Eric Howard together with Scholar Regent Emily Wiley and Personnel Regent Dr. Joel Rate.
The board also re-elected Eric Howard as chair, Sanford Holbrook as vice chair, Jacqueline Graves as secretary and Mary Fister-Tucker was
appointed treasurer.
The board also recognized the suggestion from the audit committee to revise the University’s financial debt policy and approved the revisions primarily based on employing Moody’s Bigger Instruction Scorecard.

Through the assembly, Morehead Condition Athletic Director and Volleyball Coach Jaime Gordon gave an overview of MSU’s athletic systems. Members of the volleyball team along with Mentor Preston Spradlin’s men’s basketball team ended up acknowledged for their OVC Championships last year and appearances in the NCAA Event.
MSU President Dr. Jay Morgan also shared a University outlook together with strategic aims for the 2021-22 academic yr.
