Cafferty in 1945 in Silver Lake, Minnesota. In 1955, Rita married Reuben Zimmerman. On March 29, 1957, they had a son, Stephen G. Zimmerman. At 11 months old, in February of 1958, Stephen contracted a virus which took his lifetime.
Reuben was by no means healthy immediately after the decline of their son. He finally missing his several battles with cancer in 1967.
In the meantime, when Rita was raising her family in Winsted, Minnesota, she made the decision that the menial jobs that were being out there to her were not adequate for her aspirations. In 1966, Rita moved herself and her household to St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
Rita satisfied Vic Beehler and they were married in 1970. They lived in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, till 1981 when they moved to Sandpoint, Idaho. Vic and Rita were being avid square dancers. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Rochelle (Paul) Gibbs, and Darcy (Chad) Steger, equally partners from Minneapolis, Christina (Mike) Miscovich, Coldfoot, Alaska, Kipp (Jenny) Cafferty, Minneapolis, Amanda (Mark) Wilkins, Spokane, Washington, Sean (Leah) Cafferty, Publish Falls, Idaho, Meggie ( Dave Dail) Cafferty, Moscow, Idaho, Jonas (Rachel) Cafferty, Minneapolis, Dr. Curtis (Shannon) Wozniak, U.S. Air Force, Warrant Officer III, Anthony J. Wozniak, U.S. Army, and Kaitlyn (Brandon) Shelton, Post Falls as very well as quite a few wonderful-grandchildren, and action-grandchildren.
